Casement & Awning Window

Casement Windows are hinged on the sides and swing out, opening outwards vertically, while Awning Windows open horizontally. Both use a crank providing maximum ventilation. The multi-point locking hardware system allows them to close on all four sides, creating an airtight seal for maximum energy efficiency. These windows are perfect for decks and patios, kitchens, bathrooms, above gardens, 2nd and 3rd floors of homes. The washability hinge provides easy access to both inside and outside of the windows for cleaning. A multi-point locking system on the hardware provides an extra layer of security. The folding handle operates effortlessly, and tucks conveniently out-of-the way of most window treatments allowing for a clean, finished look. There is also a quick-release dual-arm technology for awning windows for easy opening and closing. Casement and Awning windows come in a number of colors or in a premium oak, cherry or maple hardwood interior.

Our Casement and Awning windows are all made with Neopor® Insulation, to prevent any mold build-up, rotting and structural damage, in addition to increasing the overall efficiency. Insulated glass has INNERGY® thermal reinforcements and ComforTech™ Warm Edge Glazing System, which provides high levels of energy efficiency. Super Spacer® Reverse Dual Seal Technology provides warmer glass temperatures and protects against heat loss and also reduced interior condensation. FineLine™ welds provide a straight, clean weld line on corners.

 

UV technologies further improve energy efficiency in these windows, with high-performance Low E coating, UV protection and insulating chambers filled with Krypton or Argon gas, certifying these windows for an ENERGY STAR rating. 

 

There are 4 main grid types (Contoured, Pencil, Flat, SDL), 8 grid patterns with double or triple internal grids or 5 different SDL styles. Also various color and glass options to ensure a perfect aesthetic match for your home. 

 

Extruded aluminum screens are made with either UltraVue® or BetterVue™ fiberglass mesh.
